Bridgette Calarco

Bridgette Calarco (b. 1986) was raised, and currently resides, on Long Island, New York, where she lives with her husband, infant son and two cats, Link and Charlie. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts, with an emphasis in drawing in 2005. Since earning her undergraduate degree, Bridgette has dedicated her life to her passion for drawing, as well as traveling and animals, particularly cats.

Bridgette primarily works with colored pencils, but often incorporates other mediums such as pen, ink, and watercolor. Her style is both surreal and whimsical, and she is always pushing the boundaries of her skills in realism, in pursuit of giving her work a life of its own. The subjects of her drawings are heavily influenced by her love for cats, traveling and reading.
